Participant's Feedback
It has been a great experience to do Faculty Induction Program from HRDC Nainital, UK, India. I am thankful to the entire team HRDC especially the HRDC Director, Assistant Director, and Course Coordinator for their successful guidance and provided a family like environment to all the participants. We never felt that we have joined HRDC Nainital just to do the course. An exemplary initiative was taken to orient all of us participants not only academically but also from various aspects of life through world-class resource persons. Every day of the induction program was overwhelming as we learned something new. I will try my best to imbibe it in my academic life. This is what I assure all the respected members of HRDC-Kumaun University Nainital, UK, India.

Assistant Professor, St. Mary's College, Thrissur, KeralaThe Course with Dr Divya Upadhyay Joshi, the Director of HRDC, Kumaun University, Nainital and Dr Reetesh Sah, Deputy Director along with the supporting Staff Mr Jatin had been too much accommodative and made the entire duration of the course, cozy. The Resource persons too, by and large carried out their best to teach the participants about the new trends in Teaching Learning and the values and ethics attached to the teaching profession. The class and home assignments made the learning process practical oriented which shall go a long way in revolutionizing the teaching process, for which the course had been crafted and scheduled. If another chance is given, I shall certainly join the course of HRDC Kumaun University. On the concluding day, I am overshadowed by a feeling of sadness because during the duration of the course, I had become attached with the people involved. I wish that the HRDC Kumaun University, scales new heights of glory which I firmly believe it has and shall be able to maintain because the people involved in it are dedicated and strive for excellence.

Assistant Professor, Bodoland University, Assam"I recently participated in a refresher course that was conducted online by HRDC Kumaun University, Nainital and I must say that the organizers did an exceptional job of ensuring that the course was efficiently arranged. I was impressed by the level of professionalism and dedication demonstrated by the organizers in managing the proceedings, even in a virtual environment. However, while the course content was informative and relevant, I believe that it could benefit from incorporating more contemporary advancements in various fields of geosciences, especially in Earth System Sciences. Moreover, introducing interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary topics with the participation of resource persons who possess innovative teaching skills would certainly enhance the course's vibrancy and effectiveness. Overall, I was pleased with the refresher course and the effort put forth by the organizers. I would highly recommend this course to anyone seeking to update their knowledge in the field of geosciences."
Dr. Chandan Kumar B (RC Earth Sciences)
Assistant Professor, Central University of Kerala, KeralaAll the sessions in Refresher Course in Chemistry (8-22 July 2022) were very informative, well-presented, motivating and quite interactive. The course content was well-planned, exhaustive and effectively executed by esteemed speakers. A congenial and friendly environment was provided by the course coordinators and the entire HRDC team throughout the course. The participants got a great opportunity to learn from and interact with highly intellectual, renowned and efficient resource persons invited from top ranked Universities or institutions. The course provided a great deal of guidance about the actual ways by which we can contribute to the thirst areas as a researcher as well as a teacher. The greatest benefit of the online mode of the course was effective interactions with the participants from all over the country as well as with the eminent resource persons from abroad. Revising the old research paper was a quite new idea. It enabled the participants to find out the better ways to increase effectiveness of research paper. Also, submission of research project proposal further polished my writing skills. Organizing such courses demonstrates the actual steps taken by HRDC Kumaun University for improvement of higher education. On the whole, this course was a great learning experience for me. I would like to attend courses from HRDC Kumaun University in future also. Thank you very much!!

SPSS Govt. Degree College Gangolihat, Pithoragarh, UttarakhandThe program was very innovative, useful, informative, enthusiastic, impressive, and well organized. Scholars who were experts in their respective subjects paved my way through their lectures. The program not only taught me the lesson of study but also made me aware of how to achieve my goal in my whole life. All the members of Human Resource Development Center Nainital especially Divya Madam and Reetesh Sir immense cooperation and practical knowledge towards the participants made me follow the path of my duty.
Dr. Hemwati Nandan Paneru (FIP- 10)
Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit, Bihar DirectorIt was a good experience overall, learning about different pedagogical methods, academic writing, ethics and integrity, roles and responsibilities of teachers and different modern tools for teaching. I also enjoyed being a part of some very stimulating sessions dealing with interesting topics like India's foreign policy, public health and the Constitution of India which we all need to have an idea about, in my opinion. Lastly, I would like to thank the authorities for inviting speakers to talk about issues like gender equality and taboo topics like lack of tolerance and sensitivity towards marginalised groups. I believe these topics being discussed on such a forum with people from diverse backgrounds will go a long way in creating and sensitising future 'responsible citizens', which happens to be the most important role of a teacher.

Kolkata, West BengalIt was a great Online Faculty Induction Programme and the training was very good and paced in very comfortable way. My suggestions are: 1. training – There is a lot of stuff that goes into a good employee induction program. Induction training must be structured. This ensures consistent, standardized training throughout the course. Only if you have standardized training can you have a buddy system. Otherwise, candidates teach new starters bad habits and wildly different standards of training. 2. Interactive learning is the best way to engage new and existing employees and make training interesting for them. 3. The interface should be hassle-free, easy to use and multimedia compatible. 4. Encourage flexible learning. 5. Keep it simple 6. Blended learning. 7. Personalize

Niranjan Mohanty (RC earth Sciences)
Assistant Professor, MLS University, Udaipur, RajasthanThe whole course was beautifully designed with a variety of Resource persons from different fields which was very inspiring and informative for all of us. The course also created a sense of discipline among all of us but due to technical difficulties, network issues, and work pressure from the college, it was a bit difficult to manage from the participant's end. So, if a little bit of relaxation would have been provided in terms of tasks, it would have been the best. Also, It will be my immense pleasure if I do such a course in offline mode in the future from Kumaon University. Visiting Nainital would be a beautiful experience for its scenic beauty as well as explore a lot and apply to my research area and subject.
Dr Preety Prasad
Patliputra University, BiharWith very positive feedback, I joined the HRDC course of Kumaun University, Nainital, and coming to the end of the course, I can vouch that no other University has handled the Faculty Induction Program so well. These past 30 days of the program have been very rigorous and taxing, but at the same time, very enriching and insightful. I have learned so much from the eminent speakers of the varied session and I would not be wrong if I say that I will be taking a wealth of knowledge, experience, and good memories with me. The Director, HRDC, Prof. Divya U. Joshi Ma'am, and the Assistant Director Dr. Reetesh Sah Sir has been our torchbearer and have led us throughout this entire course with their affectionateness and strictness at the same time. They have been very kind, generous, and considerate towards all the participants. Given the task and responsibility of conducting the session for each participant, every day added the value of worthiness to each individual. Although the lack of physical connection is always there in an online course, this course was no less leaving an impact on our minds positively and happily. I am thankful to the esteemed team of the HRDC for organizing the program so well in a coordinated manner and helping us to be empowered as a teacher in every way possible. Hoping to get the opportunity to visit the beautiful place, Nainital, and attend some offline courses from this esteemed university.

We were feeling like every day is a new day/ fresh day with a new topic, with a new resource person with new ideas. We feel very energetic, motivated, and encouraged by listening to all the resource persons otherwise it is not easy to listen to everyone from 10:15 to 4: 30 even sometimes beyond 5:00 pm regular for 30 days. It is all because HRDC Nainital had given every day a new taste for us so that this program has been completed successfully. Moreover, Honorable Director madam and respected Deputy Director Sir were very cooperative, humble, polite, supportive, and kind during the whole course.
